For over 25 years Dartford Metalcrafts have specialised in the design and manufacture of refuse chute systems and have incorperated their considerable experience into the latest equipment found here on this website. All refuse chute installations are munufactured to order and thus can be tailor-made to meet the specific requirements of each contract. Smoke and fire containment are of great importance in refuse chute design. The companys refuse hopper performs excellently in counteracting both of these hazards. There are three principle elements in a refuse chute system: the hopper, the chute or 'tube' and the chute terminations at the dicharge point. Each part can be found illustrated on this website. |
